Teen Cyclist in Hospital After Hit by Driver

Teen hospitalized after cycling accident (from ABC27 in Pennsylvania)

DILLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -“A 13-year-old boy was flown to a hospital Monday evening after he was struck while bicycling in Franklin Township, York County.
The story from ABC -7 news digital reports that “Northern York County Regional police said the teen was cycling in the 700 block of Range End Road when he turned into the path of a 1996 Dodge Caravan driven by 69-year-old Robert Tabler, of Dillsburg.”
Really? He purposefully turned into the path of the driver?

“The teen, who was not identified by police, was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center following the accident that occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717-292-3647.”
