Cyclists International to Air Six Day Track Cycling Event on Sunday

This Sunday Cyclists International will host a simulcast of the first half-Six Day to take place in the United States for decades.

Airing from Carson, CA., the event will feature world and Olympic champions from around the world.

The simulcast will take place from 7:15 PM to 11:15 PM on Sunday, which is 10:15 PM to 2:15 AM Monday morning in New York City.

With 30 world-ranked Six-Day, Madison, Track and Criterium riders forming 15 teams, and coming from the top ranks of American, European, South American, and the West Indian competitors, the races will be fast, and offer spectators a surprise a minute.

The live webcast will be produced by Kent Gordis, producer of eight Olympic Games, 6 Tours de France, a Biathlon World Cup, and the highly acclaimed Bob Roll series of commercials and promos.

Reigning National Madison Champions Bobby Lea and Jackie Simes will be representing the USA Team.

With his 2013 National Madison, Pursuit, and Omnium wins, and his 18 wins as Elite National Champion on the track, Bobby Lea is perhaps the one man everyone will be hoping to beat.

Starting with three Miss N Outs, and featuring much of the racing format of days one and two, it will be final nail-biting evening with a special final one-hour Madison race that will include all 15 teams from approximately 7:15 PM to 11:15 PM (see team list below.)

The event will be held at the Velodrome at The StubHub Center at 18400 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA 90746.
